Web of ideas

I’ve never been a typical introvert. Keen interest in what is going on around me has lead me to develop a keen sense for the hard-to-sense vibrations that events and people emit during the course of their appearance before me. I tend to think of the world as being entangled in a spider web. As things move, breathe, or make noises, the tiny vibration travel through the web to my fingertips.

A truly good idea is what the brain produces when in touch with these vibrations. The hard part is keeping in touch with the web. But it’s not just that. A powerful idea machine can only be developed if you constantly challenge your brain to think about the same thing in completely different ways. People who decide to stick with one faculty of thought will almost never experience this.

In my life, I’ve come in touch with many different things: painting, photography, psychology, 3D graphics, singing, filmmaking, programming, law, science, technology, writing and screenwriting, medicine. I’ve taken in as much of every one of those things as I could. Each time, I was enlightened a refreshing way of thinking about things in life. You cannot imagine what versatility this enables. Really. No way of explaining. It’s pure awesomeness. Along with my sensitivity to the outside world, this super-machine for giving it a meaning, makes the foundation of the idea machine.
